Is back or neck pain holding you back from doing the things you love the most?
Neck and back pain, headaches and migraines, and shooting pains in the arms and legs are very common conditions that affect almost everyone at some point in life. In many cases, these pains do not go away on their own and can persist for years or even indefinitely.
I understand how back pain can hold you back from doing the things you enjoy. When I was 20 years old, I began experiencing low back pain. I thought it would go away on its own, but by the time a few months had passed, it was seriously interfering with my day to day activities. It prevented me from running for exercise. It kept me awake at night. And things that never used to cause me any discomfort, like walking 15 minutes to class and sitting through a 50 minute class, were becoming painful.
I decided to make an appointment with a chiropractor. No one in my family went to a chiropractor, and I had never gone before, so I wasn’t sure want to expect. I was absolutely amazed that I felt such relief as soon as she adjusted me. I (no exaggerating) fell asleep at 5 pm that same evening and slept better than I had in years. After a few weeks of care, I was even more surprised that the area between my shoulder blades that normally ached and my frequent headaches (that I thought were normal) had disappeared.
My own experience with chiropractic care was what inspired me to become a chiropractor and is what motivates me in my practice. My life was positively changed with chiropractic care, and I strive to improve women’s lives by decreasing their pain so that they can get back to doing the things they love the most.
If you’re experiencing neck or back pain, headaches or migraines, or shooting pains in your arms or legs, the good news is that Indianapolis chiropractic care is often successful in improving these conditions. Chiropractic adjustments decrease pain, increase range of motion, and improve a patient’s ability to perform everyday tasks as well as the activities they enjoy the most. All you have to do is schedule your complimentary consultation to start the process so that you can experience pain relief and a renewed ability to do the things you love.

My patients’ treatment plans are individualized and address the following contributing factors:
Painful knots and imbalance in muscles of the neck, back, or pelvis contribute to pain in these areas. Therapy to address the knots and imbalances helps to relieve pain.
Many people are surprised to learn that diet can either promote or fight pain. Modifying diet and incorporating supplementation (when needed) can speed healing in injured areas and reduce pain.
Poor posture at work or at home causes pain. Ensuring that you're maintaining proper posture while working or relaxing relieves pain and helps prevent recurrence.
Stress can intensify pain, and chronic pain can cause stress. Acupuncture and supplementation calm the stress response to interrupt the stress-pain cycle.
Things you will not get from me include pressure to commit to long-term care plans or required pre-payment for a long-term care plan.
Kelsey is a patient of mine who shared with me during her first appointment that she had been suffering from low back pain for five years. She had gotten some temporary relief from her pain with massage, but was unable to get through a day of work without pain, and even light exercise was becoming difficult.
She decided to schedule an appointment to see whether chiropractic could help. After determining that Kelsey was a chiropractic candidate, we started treating her with gentle chiropractic adjustments, addressing muscular tension through soft tissue work, and recommendations on the best stretches and exercises for her condition. After just two treatments, Kelsey was happy to report that the pain had significantly decreased already, and she was able to get through her work day with very little to no pain!
"Bravo Women’s Chiropractic has completely changed my mind about chiropractors. Kristen’s calm spirit and thorough expertise put me at ease from our first meeting, and I immediately trusted her. I have only had 3 adjustments, and I already feel like a new person. I highly recommend her! "
So when I came to Kristen, I was having the worst shooting pain in my neck and through my arm. I was seriously worried about going through paralysis. Kristen quickly comforted me by testing out movements, showing me some great exercises, and adjusting my back. Literally 2.5 weeks later, all of my symptoms were gone! I was so thankful I thought to go to her, and get help. If you are in pain, or have stress in your body, don't waste your time with a chiropractic care office that just wants to have you keep coming back hurt. Kristen is all about healing her patients so they can live better lives! Thanks for everything!
